Mexico’s folk dance is an uneven synthesis of different cultural traditions. Its historical roots is the synthesis of indigenous, European and African cultural influences but it continues to evolves with influences from modern pop culture. It is not one particular style but rather a collection of various regional and ethnic traditions. Dance traditions vary widely over Mexico’s expanse. In some areas, such as the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and the Yucatan Peninsula, the pre Hispanic elements have almost completely disappeared. In others, such as Totonacapan (in the states of Veracruz and Puebla), among the Nahuas of Guerrero and State of Mexico, the Huastecs of San Luis Potosí and areas in the northwest of the country, indigenous elements have been strongly maintained. Which is what we want to do here at el Centro and also show our beautiful culture. 

El baile folklorico de mexico esta compuesto por varias culturas tradisionales del mismo pais. Las raises del baile probienen de la mescla de las culturas indigenas, Europeas, y Africanas pero tambies se siguen mesclando con la cultura popular de hoy. No tiene un estilo en particular sino una colectison de varias regiones y tradiciones etnicas. Bailes tradisionales barian en toda la Republica Mexicana. En algunas areas como la peninsula de Yucatan y istmo de Tehuantepec, los elementos pre hispanicos casi desaparecen. En otas regiones como Totoncanpan(los estados de Veracruz y Puebla) y las Nahuas de Guerrero, el estado de Mexico, las Huastecas de San Luis Potosi y areas asia el norte oeste del pais los elementps indigenas son fuerte mente mantenidos. Eso es lo que queremos mantener en el Centro y alavez eniar nuestra culyura.
